Walks from the Door header
One of the most scenic counties in Wales, containing much of the Snowdonia National Park and some of the best of the Welsh coastline.
  • The Mulberry, Conwy
    • Morfa Conwy (1¾ miles): A level walk to the beach and along the Conwy estuary with views of the Great Orme.
    • Castle & Town Walls (2¾ miles): A circuit of Conwy's historic town walls, and an opportunity to visit the Castle, returning via the pleasant Marine Walk.
    • Conwy Mountain (5 miles): A relatively straightforward climb to the heights above Conwy with truly spectacular views from an ancient hillfort.
  • The Royal Ship, Dolgellau
    • Afon Wnion & Ffynnon Fair (1¾ miles): A short stroll close to the town centre, featuring a pretty riverside walk and a historic sacred well.
    • The foothills of Cader Idris (4¾ miles): A walk on little-known paths through delightful wooded country between hidden farms and valleys.
    • Three Lakes Walk (8¼ miles): A hearty, hilly hike to the foot of Cader Idris, passing Llyn Gafr, Llyn-y-Gadair and Llyn Gwernan.
