  • The Hawk Inn, Amport

  • The Running Horse, Littleton

    • Farley Mount (6 miles): A downland walk to an isolated medieval church and a famous folly dedicated to a racehorse. [GPX]
  • The Peat Spade, Longstock
    • Stockbridge Marsh (2 miles): A short, level walk from Stockbridge round a meadow alongside a tributary of the Test. [GPX]
    • Stockbridge Down (2 miles): A walk around a public area of chalk grassland, with downland flowers and butterflies, prehistoric burial mounds and Iron Age ramparts. [GPX]
    • Test Way (5 miles): A mostly level stroll, including a disused railway, with glimpses of the Rivers Test and Anton. [GPX]
    • Danebury (5½ miles): A downland walk to a well-preserved Iron Age hillfort within a nature reserve. [GPX]
  • The Walhampton Arms, Lymington
    • Lymington Reedbed and the Burrard Monument (2¼ or 2¾ miles): Stroll along the bird-rich Lymington River, returning via a monument to a local naval hero. [GPX]
    • Keyhaven Marshes (3 miles): Explore one of the premier birdwatching sites on the south coast, on easy, surfaced paths. [GPX]
    • Normandy and Pennington Marshes (5½ miles): Saunter on level, well-maintained paths around the creeks and saltmarshes of the Solent with views to Hurst Castle and the Isle of Wight. Includes directions to Lymington town centre. [GPX]
    • Solent Foreshore (6¾ miles): A rewarding walk using a superb but little-known permissive path along an attractive stretch of the Solent foreshore, returning via parkland and a former WW2 airstrip. [GPX]
    • Beaulieu Heath and Hatchet Pond (9¼ miles): A comprehensive exploration of a classic area of the New Forest, including open heathland, wildlife-rich woodland, and the Forest's largest area of open water. [GPX]
  • The White Hart, Overton
    • Quidhampton and Polhampton (2¾ miles): A stroll in the upper Test valley, with historic buildings en route. [GPX]
